Butterfly (2 boards)
ACMNA012 MA1-6NA This game for two players is designed to allow children to understand statements such as, "Two groups of three". (The two being the leaves each holding three counters.) In turn players roll a 1-6 die and put that many counters, (butterfly eggs) on each leaf. The player then has to calculate the total number of eggs and place a counter on that number on the grid. The winner is the first player with four counters in a row or 2 x 2 square.
