Ten Frame Blank (18 frames)

SKU: A030c

ACMNA004  MAe-5NA  Ten frames may be used in number activities, e.g. compare two numbers on the ten frames.  Which is the larger?  Which is the smaller? In addition and subtraction activities they provide a visual aid.  As a game, provide each student with a ten frame and ten counters. Students take turns to roll a die displaying dot patterns, count the dots and place the corresponding number of counters onto the ten frame. The exact number needed to complete the ten frame must be rolled to finish. Have students fill the ten frame horizontally across the top row first. This emphasises “fives” in the ten frame.  • Use 2 frames to develop number facts to 20.  1 - 9 students  This set contains 18 blank ten frames
